Graffiti on the Pavement

By socowatch

A Resident sends:

“There are a couple of graffiti tags on the walkway pavement between the church and the new construction.  There was also an attempt to  etch “FTT” into the newly paved walkways in front of the new buildings.”

I noticed the paint on the floor as well on my daily visits to check on new construction, but thought they were markings the building crew made to show the future walkway lights.

I think some are construction based, but there are definitely a couple that are more “artful.”

I have an office in front of the Maverick Theater (110 E. Walnut Ave.). We have been at this location since 1985. If you ever notice graffiti on the Maverick Theater bld. or the New Life Mission Church (aka, The Old Ice House, circa 1902) please let me know, I will see to it that it’s removed immediately. Also, I would love to attend one of your community meetings?
