agreed.
people can’t complain about the noise people make (unless of course it’s very unreasonable). that’s like complaining about the train, when they choose to live so close to one.

crime on the other hand, that is about personal safety and there are never any positive points to crime. as where the positive points connected with the noise level is that we get to live close to a night life and train station.

Just a question, what are considered large propane tanks? Is the size on regular propane BBQ tanks considered large?

Does it matter whether or not I live in SocoWalk? The issues at hand are still relevant.

Also, many of the post have been provided directly from or suggested by residents of SocoWalk.

I am a soon to be resident of SoCo walk and did find this blog from reading the LA Times article and I’m glad I did! I have bookmarked this site myself.

It’s good to know there is a place for the community to be updated and leave comments in a forum like this. I definitely find this blog to be useful and positive and I don’t think it does decrease in the value of the community. I would rather know what’s going on than just complain and do nothing. Keep up the good work!

I have to agree with Jacbo you are doing a fine job with this blog! I’ve booked marked it for future reading.

It puzzles me when people ignore problems or ask others to be silent. If there is noticeable crime or problems they need attention to be fixed. It’s like having a leaking faucet and ignoring it hoping it will fix it’s self. Trust me it won’t happen!

I have an office in front of the Maverick Theater (110 E. Walnut Ave.). We have been at this location since 1985. If you ever notice graffiti on the Maverick Theater bld. or the New Life Mission Church (aka, The Old Ice House, circa 1902) please let me know, I will see to it that it’s removed immediately. Also, I would love to attend one of your community meetings?

Looks like the unit has sold. I wish now they take down the sign. Instead it got bigger and more gaudy looking. I guess the realtor needs to market her success story.
